This Halloween, trick or treating may be off the table for your family, so we’ve compiled this list of three easy last-minute Halloween recipes! These tasty treats are just spooky enough to set the mood but 100% kid-friendly.
Mummy Hot Dogs

Ingredients:
- 1 package of hot dogs
- 1 tube of crescent roll dough
- Edible eyes — You can find these in the cake aisle.
Instructions:
Open the crescent roll dough and roll out flat. Cut long strips from the sheet of dough.
Wrap each hot dog in the strips of dough, making sure to leave patches uncovered.
Bake at 375 for 10 minutes or until the dough is cooked through.
Allow cooling slightly before adding the eyes. Serve with your favorite hot dog toppings!
Banana Ghosts

Ingredients:
- Bananas
- Chocolate Chips
- Mini Chocolate Chips
Instructions:
Peel all of your bananas and cut them in half to have two halves that can stand up.
Press two mini chocolate chips into the banana near the top to make the eyes.
Press a single, regular chocolate chip into the banana just under the “eyes” to make a mouth.
Serve with peanut butter, chocolate syrup, or peanuts!
Monster Cake Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 Box White Cake Mix
- 8 oz Thawed Cool Whip
- 1 Egg
- Food Coloring
- M&Ms for Eyes or Candy Eyes
- Edible Marker for Mouths and Eyes
Instructions:
Combine cake mix, Cool Whip, and egg. Mix until only a few lumps remain.
Divide into separate bowls for different colored cookies and add the food coloring you want for your monsters.
Roll into balls and place on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Cool & add M&Ms or candy eyes and mouths!
Serve!
