Meet Our Murray Eye Doctors
When you visit Jarvis Vision Center, you’re entrusting your family’s vision to a team of eye doctors who work diligently to find the optimal solutions for every set of eye health concerns and vision correction needs.
On top of standard services like eye health screenings and vision testing, our optometrists specialize pediatric eye care, specialty contact lens fittings, myopia control, management and treatment of diseases like dry eye and glaucoma, and more.
REED JARVIS, O.D.
Optometry is a lifelong love of Dr. Jarvis’. As he tells it, “I first became interested in optometry when I received my first eye exam in the first grade. He and his wife moved back to the Murray area to start their family because, as Dr. Williams says, “Murray is such a beautiful small town with a warm feeling that offers so much, personally and professionally.” He backs this up with his actions, as he’s involved in the community at large and regularly attends Murray State athletics events.
MARY JO MOORE, O.D.
An accomplished and experienced optometrist, Dr. Mary Jo Moore earned her Visual Science degree from Ferris State University. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry at her alma mater’s College of Optometry. With over three decades of experience, she’s skilled at providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages.

She and her husband, Brian, moved to McKenzie, TN, in 2022, where they live with their German Sheppard named Mojo. Dr. Moore “enjoys the quaint feeling of living in a small town,” and she intends to continue developing her hobbies in her new home, such as reigniting her passion for painting and playing the piano. Dr. Moore also looks forward to getting involved in civic and community groups in the area as she settles in.
