Meet Dr. Troy Johnson (Murray, KY)

Troy Johnson, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL) College of Optometry. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, with a minor in Microbiology, after completing his undergraduate studies at Southern Illinois University, Florida State University, and Southeast Missouri State University.

Dr. Johnson is an experienced optometrist dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care. After graduating from optometry school with honors, he began his career in private practice. His clinical experience also includes serving as a civilian optometrist at Scott Air Force Base and practicing alongside ophthalmologists in a multi-specialty medical practice. He has also published articles in national journals and served as a guest lecturer.

Dr. Johnson's professional interests include dry eye management, emergency eye care, and glaucoma treatment. He is committed to providing compassionate, family-friendly care and enjoys helping patients of all ages achieve and maintain healthy vision. He is currently accepting new patients.

Outside the office, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife, children, family, and friends and is actively involved in his church. He looks forward to serving the Murray community and surrounding areas.
